Sealdah-Namkhana is the longest distance in Southern sealdah section. It goes staight to Baruipur Railway Junction, passing Ballygangue Junction, Sonarpur Junction. From baruipur is divided into two parts, 1. Baruipur-Laxmikantapur/Namkhana and 2. Baruipur - Diamond Harbour. After Baruipur there are some important stations like Sasan Rd., Dhapdhapi, Gocharan, Dakshin Barasat, Jaynagar Mazilpur, Mothurapur and Laxmikantapur. After that the line goes to Namkhana passing some important stations like Udayarampur, Kashinagar, Nischintopur, Kakdip. The Kakdip station is the place from where you can go some tourist places.
