Plot
After being in prison for five years, Sara hoped to go free for lack of evidence. However, the President of the Republic, at the request of his private secretary and sister Berta Aguilar, makes that Sara be condemned to 25 years in prison. The hatred of a resentful sister and the political ambitions of a corrupt president drives to Sara into a desperate attempt to make an escape due to fear that her son, Salvador, now a teenager will be attacked by "El Teca" Martinez who has also escaped. Eventually, Aracely finds a solution in the form of blackmail to free Sara when seeing El Teca and the President of the Republic in a conversation while performing at a party for a mysterious businessman, who also has his own secret interests. Sara is eventually released. Once again Sara (including those close to her) becomes a target to opposing enemies new and old especially El Teca, who continues his obsession towards her. Quintanilla, the drug lord of Jalisco is also targeted when placed on a bounty, but is saved by his nephew Erick "El Gallo" (who is eventually revealed as his long lost son). Later on, another bad move of fate sinks Sara into more conflict when she seemingly agrees to marry Teca in exchange to murdering D.E.A agent, Marcelo Doriga who has been keeping an eye on those close to her. Finding out to being a trap, Sara murders Teca by stabbing him with a dagger and escapes his compound. All would be in peace but not until Teca is revealed to being alive. Each side would eventually see own casualties ranging from Sara's sister, Berta, Teca's son Alvaro, to even Quintanilla and close friend, Miriam.
Teca would find himself in contact with a civilian, a man who would be identical to him. In a final confrontation, Sara would see herself face to face with Teca, however before their confrontation a struggle would occur when being pursuited between Teca and the civilian that would lead to Sara believing that Teca would fall into comatose state. Sara would lead the D.E.A into an undisclosed location as they would shoot Teca who was being held as hostage. When attempting to leave the location, Teca eventually reveals himself to being alive and reveals himself to have switched places with the civilian; Teca attempts to hold Sara's son, Salvador hostage as Sara is shot by him that also led to Salvador shooting Teca. Salvador and Sara's love, Manuel would mourn her leaving the end unknown.
