Señora Acero: La Coyote (English: La Coyote: The Acero Dynasty), is the third season of the American telenovela Señora Acero, created by Roberto Stopello, first aired on July 19, 2016 and ended on December 5, 2016 in the United States on Telemundo, following the fourth season of El Señor de los Cielos. The season is based on the life of Vicenta Rigores, alias "La Coyote" (Carolina Miranda), a woman who tries to fight the injustices committed against illegal people in Mexico, and to unbeknownst to her is the illegitimate daughter of Vicente Acero.

Plot
Three years later, Vicenta Rigores is one of the most respected and feared coyotes of the border between Mexico and the United States. Immigrants seek for her because she has fame to protect their lives when passing the edge. Homeland Security officials are seeking her, especially Daniel Phillips while the other coyotes want her dead because she is taking away their business. Chucho Casares will be the worst enemy of Vicenta for many reasons, for being the murderer of her mother, Edelmira including the years of mistreatment and abuse she and her mother have received also opposing her relationship with his son, Abelardo. When trying to save her mother, Vicenta would eventually learn from her that she is the illegitimate daughter of former PGR commander, Vicente Acero and the half-sister of Salvador Acero, the only heir of the dynasty for the moment. For Vicenta to bear the surname 'Acero' can be her salvation or death sentence, however, Vicenta wants nothing to do the name Acero, as she would also learn more secrets from her own mother including of both of their pasts but also of her long lost father.
Sara Aguilar’s son, Salvador, her former love, Manuel, and El Gallo, have been keeping the family business going, after her death. They are currently in business with Chucho, but unbeknownst to everyone, Chucho currently works with the Acero's archenemy, "El Indio" Amaro, who was El Teca's second in command and has since taken his place as the reigning drug lord of Tijuana. Chucho is currently Indio's arms dealer and is planning to run for Senator of Cuidad Juarez. Salvador is also planning to marry Chucho's self-centered and demanding daughter, Lorena, who extremely despises Vicenta, thanks to being fully convinced by Chucho's hatred for them. The Acero sibilings would see themselves finally meet each other and face opposing new and old enemies especially Vicenta who comes face to face with her destiny to become the second inheritor of the Acero family dynasty also finding love again in Daniel Phillips after both seeing they have same common grounds. What is clear for Vicenta is that her name runs through her veins and now she is the only Señora Acero.
