Scoop Smith is a fictional character who had his own strip in Fawcett Comics' Whiz Comics and appeared in its inaugural issue. A crime-fighting news reporter (helped by cameraman Blimp Black), Smith's adventures appeared in Whiz Comics during the title's earliest years.
