Scooby-Doo: Behind the Scenes, also known as Those Meddling Kids, is a series of shorts that was shown on Cartoon Network in 1998 about Scooby-Doo. Each short gives behind the scenes information on how Mystery Inc. formed, and backgrounds for each member of the gang. There are eight shorts in total, each approximately one minute in length. They have been released on Scooby-Doo's Greatest Mysteries (VHS), and were listed as "groovy Scooby-Doo extra footage!" However, they were not released on the DVD version.

Shorts

"Case One: How They Got Started"

Daphne's father donated money to the gang, and drove them around to help them start out. Shaggy Rogers found a van, they bought it, and named it the Mystery Machine.

"Case Two: That Meddling Dog, Scooby-Doo"

Scooby-Doo has an Adam's apple, because of this, it wasn't strange when he started talking. Shaggy and Scooby form a partnership.

"Case Three: That Meddling Hippee, Shaggy"

Shaggy Rogers was known as Buzz until his 10th birthday, he had an eating disorder involving Scooby Snacks, and collects belt buckles.

"Case Four: That Meddling Kid, Daphne"

Daphne Blake wanted to be a supermodel and a detective when she was a child. Her aspirations to be a detective have caused her relationship problems.

"Case Five: Velma, That Meddling Brain"

Before she said "Jinkies," she just said "Oh My!" Velma Dinkley is the youngest member of the gang. Her parents pushed her from an early age, and as a result, she has earned hundreds of awards for achievement.

"Case Six: Fred and That Meddling Ascot"

Fred Jones was voted best looking in high school. He has dramatic training. He sings Showboat tunes. He would like to be a mystery writer.

"Case Seven: Those Finger-Pointing Villains"

Most of the villains say the same line at the end of the show: "I would've gotten away with it if it hadn't been for those meddling kids". The villains argue over who said it first.

"Case Eight: Those Meddling Kids, Together Again"

The gang discussed what they have learned over the years. Velma and Daphne agree to watch out for paintings with eyes. Scooby scared Shaggy with a gorilla mask.
