Scirpophaga kumatai is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Lewvanich in 1981. It is found in Nepal.

The wingspan is 16.5–21 mm for males and 21-21.5 mm for females. The forewings of the males are ochreous white, shading to ochreous yellow along the termen. The costa is ochreous and there is a dark fuscous spot at the lower angle of the cell. The hindwings are ochreous white, with an ochreous yellow termen. The forewings of the females are ochreous white with a dark fuscous spot at the lower angle of the cell. The hindwings are ochreous white with an ochreous yellow anal tuft.
