Schrebera alata is a plant in the Oleaceae family. It grows as a tree up to 15 metres (49 ft) tall. The specific epithet alata is from the Latin meaning "winged", referring to the petioles. Habitat is forests and woodland from 1,000 metres (3,300 ft) to 1,600 metres (5,200 ft) altitude. S. alata is found in Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa.
