Schilde ( [ˈsxɪldə]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Schilde proper and 's-Gravenwezel. On January 1, 2006 Schilde had a total population of 19,575. The total area is 35.99 km² which gives a population density of 544 inhabitants per km². It has one of the highest per capita income levels in Flanders.
