Sayaw is a Cebuano term meaning 'to dance' often used in Filipino martial arts to refer to an individual person performing a solo demonstration of weapons skills.
The word is synonymous with more commonly used 'form' and is analogous to the Japanese word kata
A local bird is called "Sayaw" because of its graceful and fluid movement.
