Save Srinagar Front is a political party in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, aimed at the betterment of the city of Srinagar. The party was founded by Mufti Nazimuddin in the year 2008. The party fought the state elections in 2008 but was unsuccessful. Party's leader Mufti Nazimuddin fought from Hazratbal constituency but was defeated by National Conference president Farooq Abdullah. Mufti Nazimuddin charged the opposition of rigging the election following which new elections were fought for that constituency in which Farooq Abdullah's brother stood up in place of Farooq. The by-election again went in National Conference's favour as its candidate Mustafa Kamal won with a majority of votes.
