Sasthi Brata (1939–2015), birthname Sasthibrata Chakravarti, was a Britain-based Indo-Anglian writer of fiction. He was educated at Calcutta Boys' School, Kolkata and then at Presidency College, Kolkata, then affiliated with the University of Calcutta.

Post literary career

After his literary career, he had worked as a salesman for air conditioners, a lavatory attendant, a postman, a kitchen porter, to supplement Britain's paltry state pension.
