Sarisophora designata

Sarisophora designata is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Park in 2012. It is found in Papua New Guinea.

The wingspan is about 13 mm. The forewings are orange grey to brownish with brownish scales sparsely scattered, more dense in the posterior portion. There are two blackish large discal stigmata, one before the middle and the other at the end of the cell. There is brownish suffusion extending from the second stigma to the inner margin. The hindwings are pale orange grey.
