As per my knowledge concerned the first name of Sardhana is Siridhana, which is formed from two words Siri and Dhana. Siridhana means, which is filled with wealth, laughter and happiness. For the time being Siridhana has been changed to Sardhana. Some people believe that in olden days saints were used to live in this village, when the time of their departure from this village they named it as Siridhana.
She is nearly 12 Kilometers far away from Medak town, about 120 Kilometers from Hyderbad. It is the most famous and largest village in Medak Mandal. The population is nearly Six thousand (6000) people. Sardhana Pin code is 502130 and postal head office is Kuchanpally. It is blessed with one Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS Sardhana) and one Primary School (CPS Sardhana). ZPHS Sardhana itself acts as one of the Examination centers of 10th class board exams in Telangana State. The Holy Manjeera river passes through the Sardhana, the water of this river is very useful to farmers.
This village is widely known for its unity. There are many Youth Associations in this village, they are SSRC, SRI SHIVA YOUTH, MANJEERA YOUTH, SARASWATHI YOUTH etc.The people of this village celebrates every festival very happily and in a grand manner, especially the Dussera and Devi Navaratrulu is celebrated merrily. There are many Kabaddi, Cricket ,Kho-Kho and volleyball players, some of them were got selected in a national level nevertheless in education Sardhana is the best village. From this village three students got selected to a renowned university RGUKT(IIITs), They are Mahesh Mooda, Shiva Kumar and Nikitha.
