Sarah-Jane Varley is a renowned British actress recognized predominantly for her portrayal of Sarah Foster in the BBC drama series, Howards' Way from the 1980s. In 1975, she assumed the role of Little Nell in the musical movie, Mister Quilp and made further appearances in films such as The Wildcats of St Trinian's (1980), And the Ship Sails On (1983) and Double Impact (1991). Varley played Estella in the BBC's 1981 adaptation of the classic novel, Great Expectations and characterized Sally Harte in the 1986 miniseries, Hold the Dream.
