She was graduated from Goldsmiths College University of London with a BA (Hons) in Communications. After working in print journalism and as a broadcast journalist for radio, Pub Ammo, the entertainment show for Five was Champion's first break into television. She's had live television presenting experience on daily magazine show Radio Gaga for VH1. Champion has been to festivals for both Virgin Radio and MTV networks including V Festival, the Isle of Wight Festival and T in the Park.
