The Sapotaweyak Cree Nation is a Cree First Nations band government whose reserves are located in Central Manitoba north of Swan River. They have a number of reserves. The largest on-reserve population occupies Shoal River Indian Reserve 65A which is located adjacent to Pelican Rapids.
