The Sapinhoá Oil Field is an oil field located in Santos Basin. It was discovered in 2008 and developed by Petrobras. The oil field is operated by Petrobras and owned by Petrobras (45%) Repsol Sinopec Brazil (25%) and BG Group (30%). The total proven reserves of the Sapinhoá oil field are around 2.1 billion barrels (282×106tonnes), and production is centered on 120,000 barrels per day (19,000 m3/d).
