Saoud bin Mohammed al-Mouqrin (Arabic: Arabic: سعود بن محمد آل مقرن‎ is the father of Muhammad bin Saud and the patriarch of the Ibn Saud family who founded the first Saudi State with Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab in 1744 and was the first imam of the region.

From the family of Al Mouqrin (or Al Muqrin, Al Moqrin, Al Mogren) leading the tribe of Banu Hanifa, he was the leader of the oasis of Dariya from 1720 to 1725. He was also the ancestor of Ibn Saud, founder in 1932 of the modern Saudi Arabia.
