Early life and career
Santosh Kumar born in Murliganj, district Madhepura. He graduated in mechanical engineering from the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology, Odisha. Later he joined the same institute for his post-graduation. Here he worked as a research scholar during last year of post-graduation study. In year 2012 and 2013, Kumar was awarded PMS scholarship by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. He is a life member of many technical societies as well as reviewer of the journal.

He worked as a research scholar at School of Mechanical Engineering, KIIT University. He has published a research paper titled Finite element modeling for structural strength of quadcoptor type multi mode vehicle, Numerical Analysis of Cam Follower Mechanism And Effect of its Physical Parameter for which he was Awarded (10.0/10.0) in his M.Tech thesis.
