Sanjay V. Padode is the current Secretary, Center for Developmental Education, Bengaluru. Sanjay began his entrepreneurial journey immediately after graduating from BITS Pilani with a B.E (hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.Sc (hons) Mathematics. He founded his first venture, Dataline and Research Technologies Ltd (DaRT), a company that pioneered the concept of online access to information and email services in India. Popularly referred to as India Online and DaRT Mail, DaRT was also the first provider of real-time market data from the Indian stock exchanges.
Career
Due to the changing license regime,DaRT pivoted its business model to become a provider of real time market data and financial trading systems under the name of Asian CERC Information Technology Limited. The Religare group acquired Asian CERC in 2006 and Sanjay continued to lead the company's new Avatar, Religare Technova Global Solutions Limited till 2010. Whilst with the Religare group, Sanjay was instrumental in 2 international and 2 Indian acquisitions for creating a IT services organization viz. Religare Technologies Limited operating in the Healthcare and Insurance space. In a matter of four years the IT services group of Religare grew from strength of 200 employees to 3500. Post the completion of his obligation as the CEO of Religare Technova, Sanjay took over as the Secretary of Center for Developmental Education, a not for profit society which runs the Institute of Finance and International Management. Since the past two years the curriculum of IFIM Business School has, and is being revamped for transforming aspiring managers into continuously employable resources. Besides managing this Business School Sanjay is working on establishing a University and a K-12 school. Both these projects are expected to go live shortly.

He has been actively contributing to the society in the Health care and education space. He has been an advisor to the Karnataka State Health Commission. He has also been the executive member of Association of Indian Management Schools and currently he holds the following portfolios.
