Sandhyakar Nandi (c. 1084 - 1155 AD) was an ancient poet from the Pala Dynasty. He was born in a Vaidya or Kayastha family of Vrihadvatu village near Pundravardhanapura in Varendra (North Bengal), Bangladesh. He was the grandson of Pinaka Nandi and the son of Prajapati Nandi, the Sandhi-Vigrahika (minister of peace and war) of the Pala emperor Ramapala. He wrote the epic poem Ramacharitam.(Ramacharit manas)

A palm-leaf manuscript of the Ramacharitam discovered by a Bengali scholar Haraprasad Shastri is preserved in the museum of the Asiatic Society, Kolkata". This book is considered as an important source for reconstructing the ancient history of Bengal by the historians.
