Samuel Edwin (12 March 1671 – 27 September 1722), was an English politician.

He was the oldest son of Sir Humphrey Edwin, who was Lord Mayor of London from 1697 to 1698. He was educated at Pembroke College, Oxford and at Lincoln's Inn. In 1687 he married Lady Catherine Montagu, daughter of the 3rd Earl of Manchester.

He briefly was a Member of Parliament (MP) for Minehead in 1717.

Hid oldest son Charles was an MP for Westminster from 1741 to 1747, and for Glamorgan from 1747 to 1756.
