Sam Smith (actor)

Sam Smith (born 9 August 1989) is a former English child actor. He played the title role in the 1999 ITV series of Oliver Twist, and played David Wiseman in the 2003 film Wondrous Oblivion.

In 2008, he attended the University of Oxford, where he read Chinese at Pembroke College. In 2014, Smith finished training as a Chinese interpreter at the University of Surrey. He currently resides in Geneva, Switzerland, where he attends the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, specialising in International Affairs. Smith is set to graduate in 2017.
