Salmas County (Persian: شهرستان سلماس‎‎) is a county in West Azarbaijan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Salmas. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 180,708 . The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Kuhsar District. The county has two cities: Salmas and Tazeh Shahr.
