Sales Emporium, Trivandrum is the Regional Outlet of Publications Division, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, where all the Books and Journals published by Publications Division, are available. Publications Division publishes books and Journals in Hindi, English and other regional languages. So far Publications Division has published 7,600 titles on a wide range of subjects([3]) including art, culture, national heritage, biographies of national leaders in various fields, science, flora and fauna and children's literature and INDIA – Year Book, a prestigious publication of the Division, published every year. It also publishes journals like Yojana, Ajkal, Kurukshetra, Bal Bharti, and Employment News([4])

Established under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting,the regional unit of Sales Emporium in Kerala was started in the year 1979 at Govt. Press Road, Trivandrum.It is located at the heart of the city and catering the needs of the book lovers for the past three and a half decades.
