The Sai River (Sai setu), is a tributary of the Gomti River in Uttar Pradesh, India.

It separates the region of Lucknow from Unnao. It flows towards the south Raebareli and comes into the region of Pratapgarh through the west, then it turns east and touches The Ghuisarnath Dham. Flowing out of Ghuisarnath Dham, it touches another religious place known as the Chandika Dham that is dedicated to Devi Chandi. Devotees take a bath in River Sai and worship Baba Ghuisarnath with its water India. Most of the districts of Uttar Pradesh are situated on the bank of river Sai. Sai is one of the most sacred rivers of Hinduism. It got reference in Puranas and in Ramcharitmanas of Goswami Tulsidas. Puranas call it as Adi Ganga, meaning the older Ganga. Along with its religious importance its also a lifeline to the millions of Indians who live on its banks and depends on it for their daily utilities.
