Sagar World is the first Hindu spiritual theme park in the world set on a 10-acre (40,000 m2) site near Navi Mumbai.
The park was planned to have an animated mythological museum, themed rides, central park, temple city, amphitheatre, a Dr. Ramanand Sagar Museum, and beverages, merchandising of souvenirs and a 50-room 4-star hotel.
Various stories from Hindu mythology are incorporated into the theme of the park, including television serials such as Ramayan, Shri Krishna, Jai Ganga Maiya, Alif Laila, Jai Maha Laxmi, and Vikram Aur Betaal.
