Citgo improves their company s safety with saferack

Founded in 2002, SafeRack manufactures industrial safety products for truck, railcar and industrial loading applications. Products include access gangways, fall protection systems, loading arms, safety cages and loading rack products for a variety of industries.

Their products are sold both internationally and domestically. However, all of the company's products are made in Andrews, S.C. Nearly every Fortune 500 Company has purchased SafeRack's OSHA-compliant products. While smaller in stature than major automakers, it uses the same type of robotic technology in its Andrews, S.C. facility as Tesla, Honda, Volvo and other major auto manufacturers.

The organization's proprietary iPad app, the Atlatl Configurator, allows their sales representatives to customize a product to meet a customer's specific needs. This customization at the point of sale allows for a much quicker delivery of a customer's product than is seen elsewhere in the safety equipment industry.

In May 2014, Jeff Reichert was appointed the president of SafeRack.

In July 2015, Bluff Manufacturing, Inc. awarded SafeRack with its 2014 Bronze Level Dealer of Excellence Award. Bluff Manufacturing's Dealer Recognition Program was created to recognize dealers for their support of high-quality safety equipment. This award is only given to those dealers who have continually demonstrated superior levels of customer satisfaction, sales and service training, and business management.

In December 2015 the company announced a $20 million expansion of its Georgetown County, S.C. manufacturing facility.

At the 99th meeting of the Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce in South Carolina, the organization awarded SafeRack with its “Business of the Year" award. Chamber President/CEO Beth Stedman said the award goes to “businesses who are leading the way in creating and enhancing an environment of innovation and growth in Georgetown County.” SafeRack was named Business of the Year because it has demonstrated stability, growth, innovation, ability to overcome challenges and a commitment to Georgetown County in SC. “At a time when many companies have moved manufacturing and customer service facilities overseas, SafeRack has announced a $20 million expansion that will bring 100 new jobs to the area,” Stedman said. “The company’s commitment to the people of Georgetown County is commendable.”
