There are several ethnic groups in Sachal Goth including Sindhis as majority, Muhajirs, Punjabis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, etc. Over 99% of the population is Muslim. The population of Gulshan Town is estimated to be nearly one million.
