SLD Olding Ltd, of Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England, was, for many years, said to be the largest multi-franchise distributors of construction plant and equipment in Britain. The company was formed by a merger between Scottish Land Development and Jack Olding Ltd when the owner of the latter company, John Douglas Olding died. The merger SLD Olding Ltd were Manufacturing construction plant for Barber-Greene, Clark Michigan, Clark, Heathfield Nordverk, Demag and many more.
