Scaphoid Lunate Advanced Collapse, also known as SLAC Wrist is a wrist in which the scapholunate ligament is ruptured. If the diagnosis is missed or the given treatment is not effective, this will eventually give osteoarthritis of the wrist.
Symptoms
Symptoms include difficulty bearing weight across wrist, patients localize pain in region of scapholunate interval, progressive weakness of affected hand and wrist stiffness.
