SC Bacău is a Romanian football club based in Bacău, founded in 2010 and currently playing in the Liga III.

History
AS Messenger Bacau on the initiative of a group of sports-loving friends and colleagues "king". A group of friends who played football and golf in rooms synthetic decided to play organized football. In the fifth edition 2007/2008 League team ranked No. 1 after a great journey thus fulfilling its goal to promote the Bacau. Following promotion to Liga IV Bacau Bacau messenger managed the first year to win the league with a great line tables. In July 2010, after promotion, the team changed its name to Sport Club Bacau. 2012/2013 League season III Sports Club finished first succeeding promotion Liga II. After finishing the Liga II 2015/2016 season on 6th place, financial problems made the club join the Liga III for the 2016/2017 season.
