SAMoCAD is a free Computer Aided Design (CAD) application for 2D drawing. It works on all operating systems that are running Python 2.7.
SAMoCAD was developed as an independent project not based on another project. The GUI of SAMoCAD is based on WxPython library .
Most of the interface are analogous to AutoCAD, making it easier to use for users with experience of this CAD program. Available drawing features allow you to create simple architectural and engineering drawings.
SAMoCAD uses the DXF and SVG formats save drawings.
