4th saff women s championship kanchenjunga stadium report


The SAFF Women's Championship, also called the South Asian Football Federation Women's Cup, is the main association football competition of the women's national football teams governed by the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). Eight members compete in the tournament.

Contents

The SAFF members are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. It is held every two years.

So far India has won every edition, always beating Nepal in the final. The next edition is held in India from 26 December 2016-4 January 2017.
