Rupper is a village situated southwest of Jhelum district in Punjab, Pakistan. It is roughly 35 km away from jhelum. Its tehsil is Dina and district is jhelum . Its population range is roughly 500 persons, and its registered voters strength in the pages of Election Commission Of Pakistan is almost 200 according to the election of 2008. In official pages of revenue department it consists of very limited land area. Mostly land occupied by its population is purchased from neighboring villages. According to addendum in East its boundary touches to village called Katari, in South East it links to Dhok shah Alam, in its west a village Raja Nara is situated. Whereas in West it encroaches into Jungle and mountains. Rupper avails some of basic amenities like Electricity, Roads, Cemented streets,Post Office, primary schools and these are missing Basic health unit, Lady Health Workers, Girls High School, Boys High School etc. There is no such well equipped market exist in Rupperdue to this people have to go neighbouring town/market almost 4 km called Sohan. Some of people are employed in public sectors and in law enforcement agencies like army and most of them are working abroad. Major crops are Wheat, maize, peanuts, barley etc. As this area is arid based so all depends upon natural weather's mercy. There are very limited strength of population those are adhered to agriculture business. All agriculture is based on conventional system. Almost hundred percent population belongs to Sunni creed of Islam
