History

They started in 2009 as The ROOTLESS. They started performing as street performers.

In 2010, their song One Day was appointed as the theme song of the anime One Piece.

On 1 January 2013, the ROOTLESS were released from their initial rhythm zone label after their bass, Takuya Ihara, left on 31 December 2012

On 3 December 2013, their guitarist, Duran, left as well.

On 10 January 2014, they changed their name to Rootless. The same year, they became affiliated with Being Inc..

On 28 December 2015, they announced their dissolution.
