The Roosevelt tree is the largest giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) in Redwood Mountain Grove, which is itself the largest grove of giant sequoias on Earth, which are endemic to the Sierra Nevada of California.

It is located in Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Forest, at 36°41′38″N 118°55′08″W.

The tallest giant sequoia on earth (95 metres (312 ft)) is also located in this grove, along with the Hart tree which is just smaller than the Roosevelt tree. The Hart tree is 85 metres (279 ft) tall, with a volume of 974 cubic metres (34,400 cu ft). The Roosevelt tree, however, has a volume of around 1,000 cubic metres (35,000 cu ft).

The tree is the 21st largest giant sequoia.
