Ronald Cyril Fearn, Baron Fearn, OBE (born 6 February 1931) is a British politician and Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords.

He was educated at King George V Grammar School, Southport and had a career in banking. He is also a Sefton Metropolitan Borough councillor and a former Merseyside county councillor, having achieved over 50 years of continuous service as an elected Liberal and Liberal Democrat Councillor.

In the 1985 Birthday Honours Fearn was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE).

His son, Martin, became a mathematics teacher at Cowley International College, St. Helens.

He was the Liberal Democrat Member of Parliament for Southport from 1987 to 1992 and 1997 to 2001, after unsuccessfully contesting the seat in 1970, twice in 1974 and 1979 general elections. He subsequently received a life peerage and joined the House of Lords as Baron Fearn, of Southport in the County of Merseyside, in 2001.
