Ron Megan (born April 4, 1960) is an American former professional ice hockey defenseman.

Megan played college hockey at Bowling Green State University. In 55 NCAA games, he scored 31 points and earned 152 penalty minutes.

He played two seasons (1982-1984) in the International Hockey League with the Kalamazoo Wings and the Peoria Prancers, registering 15 goals, 73 points, and 126 penalty minutes in 147 professional games played. He has three children Tarryn Megan,Wade Megan, and Cassidy Megan. He also goes by his nickname "The Embellisher" because of his 96 penalty minutes caused by embellishing.

His son, Wade Megan (born July 22, 1990), was drafted by the Florida Panthers in the 5th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
