Rolf Rock (54°22′S 36°12′W) is a small isolated rock in Hound Bay, 1.5 nautical miles (2.8 km) south-southeast of Tijuca Point, off the north coast of South Georgia. Named by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee (UK-APC), following mapping by the SGS, 1951–52, after the Rolf, one of the vessels of the Compañía Argentina de Pesca which participated in establishing the first permanent whaling station at Grytviken, South Georgia, in 1904.
