Rolando Cantú (born February 25, 1981) is a former Mexican-born football offensive guard, who played for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. He is the first Mexican-born non-kicker and Mexican-born player not to attend a college in the United States before playing in the NFL.

Professional career

Cantú was raised in Monterrey, Mexico, and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals through the NFL's International Practice Squad Program in 2004. He mostly spent time in the Cardinal's practice squad, before being promoted to the active roster in 2005 and making one game appearance against the Indianapolis Colts. A knee injury forced him to retire in 2006, after being placed on the injured reserve list.
