Roderick B. Salisbury (born June 19, 1967) is an anthropological archaeologist with a M.A. and Ph.D. in Anthropology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is Honorary Visiting Fellow at the University of Leicester and was IGERT Fellow in GI Science at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York. In 2007-2008 he was an Fulbright Fellow in Hungary. Current research interests include landscape archaeology, soilscapes, historical ecology, social organization, GIS, and geoarchaeology. Spatio-temporal interests are the Late Neolithic, Copper Age and early Bronze Age in Central Europe, and Late Archaic and Early Woodland in Northeastern North America.
