Rocky River (Kangaroo Island)

Rocky River, on Kangaroo Island in South Australia, is a stream located within Flinders Chase National Park. Approximately 40 km long, Rocky River flows in a generally south-westerly direction and discharges into the Southern Ocean near Maupertuis Bay.

The catchment area for Rocky River is approximately 216 km² and is considered to be the only river catchment in South Australia essentially unaffected by land clearing and other human impacts.
