Rocketship Education (RSED) is a non-profit charter school network headquartered in Redwood City, California. Rocketship was founded by John Danner and Preston Smith in 2007. Their schools' use a blended learning model with adaptive software to increase student achievement. Currently there are sixteen charter schools located in San Jose, Redwood City, and Concord California, as well as schools in Nashville, Milwaukee, and Washington D.C..
