Rochelle Feinstein is an American artist/painter based in New York City. She was raised in Queens, New York, received her BFA from Pratt Institute, and her MFA from The University of Minnesota.

Feinstein lives in the Lower East Side of Manhattan and maintains a studio in Brooklyn, NY. She is currently head of the Graduate Painting and Print Program at Yale University. She was one of the first females to be tenured at Yale University in the Visual Arts. Feinstein has been making paintings, exhibitions, photographs, retrospectives, videos, and installations for over 30 years. She is represented by On Stellar Rays in NYC. Her new video, Toy George is included in the 2014 Whitney Biennial.
