Roberta Temes, Ph.D, known as Dr. Roberta, is an accomplished author and seasoned psychotherapist. She is the author of many books including the award-winning Living with an Empty Chair, the popular, Complete Idiot’s Guide to Hypnosis, the therapeutic classic, The Tapping Cure, and her latest book, How to Write a Memoir in 30 Days.

She is the author and producer of Enjoying Weight Loss, the Hypnosis Network’s best-selling 8 session hypnosis CD series. Roberta is known for her alternative psychotherapy technique which integrates hypnosis, tapping, and guided writing. This innovative holistic approach results in inspired, self-directed emotional healing.

Temes is a former psychology and medical school faculty member, and an experienced editor and writing instructor. She is known by her national and international clients as Dr. Roberta.
