The Robert W. Metcalf, MD Memorial Meeting is an annual seminar which provides focus on the development and dissemination of knowledge in the discipline of arthroscopic and reconstructive shoulder, knee, hip, foot and ankle surgery.
The Metcalf Meeting is held in honor of Robert Metcalf, MD who, during the 1970s sought to improve the techniques and tools relating to arthroscopic surgery.
The Arthroscopy Association of North America, or AANA, participates every two years in the Metcalf Seminar
The annual Robert W. Metcalf, MD Memorial Meeting provides 26 hours of continuing medical education for arthroscopic practitioners which providers can use towards their CME. Over ten thousand physicians have attended the Metcalf Arthroscopy meeting event since its inception in 1978.
