Robert Patrick Armstrong, QC is a retired lawyer and judge.
Armstrong was called to the Bar in 1967 and was appointed a Queen's Counsel in 1978.
Armstrong began the practice of law with Kimber, Dubin in Toronto, joined Torys in Toronto in 1972 and became a partner there in 1973 where he remained until he was appointed a Justice of the Ontario Court of Appeal in 2002.
Armstrong has appeared in numerous famous cases including Hill v. Church of Scientology of Toronto in the Supreme Court of Canada.
Armstrong was a bencher of the Law Society of Upper Canada from 1995 to 2002 and the 56th Treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada from 1999 to 2001.
