Robert Macauley (February 18, 1838 - March 17, 1904) was an American lawyer, legislator, and jurist.
Born in Glasgow, Scotland, Macauley moved with his family to Hancock County, Illinois in 1842. In 1852, they moved to a farm near Menomonie, Wisconsin. Macauley served in the 16th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment during the American Civil War. In 1868, he served as Dunn County, Wisconsin District Attorney. He was Menomonie City Attorney from 1882 to 1890. From 1873 to 1881 and again from 1897, Macauley also served as Dunn County, (Wisconsin) County Judge. Macauley served in the Wisconsin State Assembly in 1883. He died in Menomonie, Wisconsin.
