Robert Dowling is a headmaster in the city of Birmingham.

He is well known for turning around George Dixon School from closing, and received a Knighthood from The Queen in 2002, during her birthday honours. In 2005, he was praised by OFSTED for his role in dealing with issues of sex and morality in his school.

He was the headmaster of St. Georges School, Birmingham, in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
